Longthorns Farm in Dorset can now boast some seriously green credentials after revamping its facilities.
The picturesque campsite in Wareham, set on a working cattle and alpaca farm, has updated its toilet and shower block using a range of recycled materials, including Sealwise WCB.
Owners Mark and Sally said they aim to provide quality camping, whilst respecting nature, farming sustainably, recycling and reusing where ever possible.
With this in mind, they opted for a building exterior made from recycled plastic coat hangers, whilst sink units, doors and cladding inside the block is made from Sealwise WCB.
This doesn’t just make for a great clean-looking finish, which is 100% waterproof and extremely durable, but makes great sense from a hygiene perspective, as it is so easy to clean, and resistant to bacteria – superb for washing and cleaning areas.
We’re looking forward to telling you more about this project, which we thoroughly enjoyed being involved in. We constantly delight in the different applications Sealwise WCB can provide for our customers – from school kitchens, to poultry sheds, glamping pods and more!
We’ve got so many exciting projects in the pipeline right now – so innovative and ground-breaking – we really can’t wait to start sharing them!
